What is Laser Skin Resurfacing?
Laser-assisted skin resurfacing at Laser Beauty and MedSpa Center is a noninvasive aesthetic treatment that employs delicate beams of light to eliminate dead and damaged skin cells one layer at a time. This procedure is used to reduce facial wrinkles and lines and for minimizing skin irregularities, including acne scars, pigmentation, and other issues. With the Harmony XL PRO, laser-assisted skin resurfacing is regarded as a great facial treatment for patients desiring softer, clearer, younger-looking skin. Based on the needs of your skin type, we will customize the treatment for the best results. There is little downtime needed for a significant number of laser skin resurfacing treatments. Your concerns or questions can be discussed with our board-certified nurse practitioner, Lori Turner, during a consultation at our Highland, IN practice.

LASER SKIN RESURFACING faq
How much does laser skin resurfacing with the Harmony XL PRO cost?
The cost of laser resurfacing varies, depending on the treatment you get. In your initial consultation, Lori will understand your skin problems and desires before reviewing your skin. From there, we can discuss costs and create your one-of-a-kind treatment plan. Laser Beauty and MedSpa Center regularly offers skin treatment specials and discounted packages so ask for more information during your appointment.
How can I help my skin recover after a resurfacing treatment?
Lori or a member of her staff will talk to you about ways to speed skin healing after your treatment. The number one rule is to not pick or peel your skin. Doing this can create lasting damage, like scars. You should skip all hair removal methods on the treated skin, which means no waxing, shaving, or depilatory creams. We can recommend an ointment to help soothe treated areas.
How often should I get laser resurfacing treatments?
Based on the resurfacing method you and Lori choose for your treatment, you might need to wait several weeks or even months between appointments. Deeper treatments will give you results that last a long time, but they do need a longer recovery period. You should tell Lori about how often you are willing to return for appointments so she can take this into account when recommending a treatment plan in your initial consultation.
